keep fighting…

I see you there,

your eyes unfocused.

The look of “I don’t care”

The look of  “I give up”

How do you beg?

How do you plead?

How can I beg and plead!

For someone I love

To stand up and fight

To not lay down and die!

How does one help someone fight!?

-Hang in there!

  1. Unfortunately, we can’t fight the battles for them… we can only try to be a reminder to them that there truly are so many reasons not to give up… and ultimately so many reasons to be filled with love when it’s their time.
    Keep your heart strong 🙂

  2. Everyday we all fight through. Though each fight in a different way, some stumble while some help those who stumble. Great post. I enjoyed reading it and I love the photo. Thank you for sharing 🙂

  3. Unfortunately, we can’t do it for them. I totally agree with the comment above. She said what I was gonna say. But unfortunately, as sad and painful as it is to watch a loved one give up, try to put yourself in her place. Even the fighter’s get tired of fighting sometimes,,, especially when they feel they know the outcome or are in so much pain they are tired of trying. (I say that from what friend’s have told me…:( some, right before they passed, but they wanted to, so I try to think of them being happy and pain free… of course, selfish me, misses them terribly and get sad or angry. They wouldn’t want that, but I think it’s just a process I we have to go through.
Blessings ~ Hang in there sweetie..

    • I know I wish I could help with the fight somehow and I tell myself I can understand. I know it must be awful. I was thinking this morning, we all know we’re going to die. But to actually be faced with it and know that hey it’s going to be soon (possibly) then it’s different. She cried that her Dr was just telling her die. I don’t want her to die. I don’t want her to give up. I’m selfish. But I try to understand what she could be thinking…. Though I don’t think she wants to die either..

      Life isn’t fair!
